Boat Storage

The Community Sailing Center is home to sail and human powered boats of all kinds and sizes. We are especially well suited to house: kayaks/canoes, rowing dinghies, Lasers, Sunfish, and boats 12-24' on trailers. photo

Those who store their boats with us are given:

  • the combination to the gate locks which allows for 24 hour access to the boat park and shed
  • use of dollies for ease in launching
  • the option of purchasing a hoist pass for unlimited hoist usage

Boats may be stored on racks, trailers or tires in the boat park.

Summer Storage Rates (May 17 – October 31)

Rack Space (Laser, Sunfish, canoe, kayak, sailboard, etc.)

Fee: $165, $55 each additional boat on the same rack

Ground Space (Boat on pads/tires or boat on trailer)

Fee: $15 per foot - Boats 14ft and under
$16 per foot - Boats 15-18ft
$18 per foot - Over 19ft, cats

Winter Storage Rates (Nov 1 – May 15, 2009)

Kayak/canoe: $135
Dinghy on stern: $165
Dinghy on dolly (16' max): $22/ft

Hoist Use

One-time hoist use $3/ foot Season hoist use: $8/ foot

Sailors must provide their own lifting equipment

Transient Boat Dockage

Burlington Harbor is a popular destination for boaters on Lake Champlain. Hourly dockage and moorings are available; please call the Harbormaster at (802) 865-3377 for more details.
